The Dora Links Fashion Doll is a new doll from Fisher Price® which continues the successful tradition of the Dora The Explorer line.  This one is a slightly older doll that is marketed towards kids who grew up on the original Dora but have now become a little older.  This essentially means kids aged 5 to 10 years old.  Here, Dora is made to be about 10 years old herself.

What makes this new doll so great is that it takes some of the things that made the original Dora great like her bilingual speaking and her interest in learning and combines it with a more interactive experience.  Here, the Dora Links Fashion Doll can be plugged into your computer through a USB cord that allows kids access to all kinds of games and fun on the DoraLinks website.  Girls will get to uncovers and solve various mysteries with the help of Dora and her friends.  In this case, the friends are known as the Explorer Girls.  The cast along with Dora is a little bit older and has a broader range of interests including fashion which is a slight departure from the original.  However, all the characters are still very wholesome and the learning and educational qualities are effectively incorporated online.

We expect that the Dora Links Fashion Doll will be a big hit as it already has started to gain a large number of pre-orders prior to its release date later this month on September 29^th.  We think this should be a best seller by year end as more and more people back aware of this new doll.  We also suggest you order sooner rather than later as demand may cause supplies to be hard to come by as we enter the holiday season.
