This Christmas is a good year to be a kid.

There are plenty of high quality Christmas gifts for kids in 2009.  In fact, there are so many choices out there, it can be a little overwhelming for parents to sort through all of them.  This is where we hope to come in and lighten the load by providing our choices for the Hottest Toys For 2009.

Our first choice is the Battle Strikers Tournament Set.  This gift has been a tremendous hit at toy fairs around the world as kids can’t seem to get enough of these magnetized spinning tops.  The competition of the head to head battles makes this a very popular gift.  These games have a certain element of strategy and planning to that will be very appealing to kids.  This one is mainly for boys, but we bet there will be a number of girls that will get a kick out of this one too.

Clipo Hippo

Our second choice is the Clipo Hippo.  This is a really great game for toddlers and is one that can grow up with the child.  This one has elements of block building, truck rolling, and even gobbling or knocking down blocks.  This one is a great blend of things that different kids (boys and girls) will like.  In addition, because it has several different aspects to it, kids will graduate to other aspects as they get older allowing this to grow up with them rather than being set aside.

Dora Links Doll

Our third choice is the Dora Links Doll.  This controversial doll is actually a very good gift and will be a hit with older girls.  Everyone recognizes Dora The Explorer as a wholesome role model for kids and these same great qualities are in this new doll.  This one is in tandem with an online website that provides hours of fun for girls.  We anticipate this will be a big hit this fall.

Elmo Tickle Hands

Our fourth choice is the Elmo Tickle Hands.  This new Elmo toy is very popular and will continue to be so in the fall.  This one is an important accessory of the Elmo Tickle and Groove Dance which is aired frequently on Sesame Street.  The result is little girls and boys will want this one and smart parents will listen.  A great gift idea that is also relatively inexpensive.
